Cork Cine Club Building on the success of its first season, Cork Cine Club presents season two of quality independent cinema in the Half Moon Theatre.  Films that represent the cream of the world cinema crop will be screened on five Sundays between 16 May and 13 June at 7:30pm.  Cork Cine Club was formed this year to fill the gap in art house cinema.  It operates in conjunction with the Arts Council funded access>CINEMA, the resource organisation which supports regional cultural cinema in more than 70 venues around Ireland.   Read more>>	From Sun 16 May
	Cork Midsummer Festival and Cork Opera House present three monologues by Mike Daisey American Mike Daisey has been called “the master storyteller” and “one of the finest solo performers of his generation” for his groundbreaking monologues which weave together autobiography, gonzo journalism, and unscripted performance to tell hilarious and heartbreaking stories that cut to the bone, exposing secret histories and unexpected connections. He joins the Cork Midsummer Festival as artist-in-residence with three productions – Monopoly!, The Last Cargo Cult, and developed specifically for Cork audiences over the duration of his stay, From Away, all three directed by Jean-Michele Gregory. Read more>>	From Tue 15 June
